“I cannot even begin to describe how amazed I was by their service and willingness to help me in a bad moment! I had major pain in one of my teeth, it was the last day of business for the year, and they were very busy. But they still told me to come in and that they would be able to see me.” — Jason Bell

What is Considered a Dental Emergency?

Tooth pain and injury are dental emergencies that should be treated right away. And at Cameron Dental Studio, we take cosmetic emergencies seriously, too. If you’re experiencing any of the following, call our office to be seen today.

Pain

A woman holds the right side of her face in pain as though experiencing a dental emergency. If you are in pain, we want to know so we can act quickly to relieve your pain and identify its source. Possible causes of toothaches include:

  • Severe tooth decay
  • A cracked or broken tooth
  • An infected wisdom tooth (To learn more, visit our Wisdom Teeth Removal page.)

Injury

Injury to your mouth can cause a tooth to fall out or become dislodged. When this happens, the tooth must be replanted urgently. If we are open, call us to be seen immediately. If not, go to the hospital for emergency treatment.

In the meantime, follow these instructions for preserving your tooth found on Mayo Clinic’s website.

Compromised Aesthetics

Damage to one of your front teeth affects your smile and self-image. Even if you’re not in any pain, we want to take care of your urgent aesthetic concerns right away as well.

Gentle Dentistry and Sedation

“I was so worried about the pain, but it was so easy — nothing like I have experienced. Dr. Cameron is gentle and uses a tiny needle, so I couldn’t feel it. I loved that she did the procedure right away so I didn’t have to come back.” — Elizabeth Fox
