Originally trained in Brazil, Dr. Goncalves sought to deepen her expertise through advanced postgraduate education in the United States, completing a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, followed by an intensive three-year residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, where she also earned her Master of Science degree.
